What Neville Lodge Offers
Here at Neville Lodge we offer a residential care setting that provides accommodation, activities and 24-hour support to men and women living with autism. Our specialist autism service has been purpose-built to help individuals ‘live their best life’ by creating individual packages of care.
Situated in Doncaster Yorkshire, our central location creates opportunities for service users to access the community with are large variety of local amenities.
Autism Focused Support
Our autism service seeks to provide a suitable environment, individual support and compassionate care to support service users to live well.
We regularly consult with our service users to help decide how they are best supported, as we understand that every individual with autism has their own personal preferences and abilities. We then develop support plans with each individual, their family and/or friends, and professionals involved in their care.
We are subject to regular CQC inspections to ensure that our care standards are delivered in an environment that promotes structure, security, consistency and understanding. Neville Lodge works within the SPELL framework. We are also working towards accreditation with the National Autistic Society.
The Environment
Neville Lodge is a person-centred residential service for men and women living with autism. Our large Victorian home has recently been fully renovated to the highest specification aiming to provide a safe, structured and personalised environment for service users.
It is a spacious home with six individual bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. The house is set in a large, private garden with ample on-site parking for visitors.
The home also features a large, shared kitchen and dining area, a relaxation and music area, a family/visitor room, activity rooms, computer gaming room/education suite and a small gym.
Located within 15 minutes walking distance of Doncaster town centre, we are close to the usual local amenities like coffee shops, the bus station, railway station, and shopping centre. Neville Lodge is also close to the town’s largest open parkland area (The Town Fields).
Our Team
All individuals living at our residential service have access to a team who have significant expertise and training in supporting people with autism.
The values Neville Lodge advocates are fundamental to creating a compassionate home, with skilled staff. With this in mind the team at Neville Lodge were recruited for both the values they hold, as well as their skill and experience.
We understand that living with autism can make ‘everyday life’ a challenge. Our person-centred approach helps staff to understand the nuances in each individual’s condition and to identify the correct support package that may best benefit the individual service user.
